Distribution unequal

The tecchnology is a goodsthat have a distribution unequal. It’s interesting as material goods are not only unequally in the society. The technology as an ascpecto of the knoledge is a goods that is distributed of way difeerentiated in the society.
In an article in the web site www.dreig.eu show and explain the key behind the distribution unequal of partipation in blogs, communities and social networks. The capacity of tools in the virtual networks is a possibilities for companies and ordinary people.
The article show forms of medition for count the use of virtual space, which say, in a percentage, that: 90% of users or readers that observed, also named “lurkers”, never contribute, 9% contribute little only: comment, edit and add content; and a 1% monopolize the activity: published, edit and contribute frequently. This people have a habitual and synchronous participation, as a citizens periodist that report information when it’s happened.
This facts are of research from Nielsen, who called the phenomenon as “unequal participation” and was research first for Will Hill in start nineties, when he has worked in Bell Communications Research.
The first reseach about the phenomenon correspond to of Whittarker et al. in Usenet. Nielsen show in 2006 various examples about principle (or pater of unequal distribution of participation) in the “blogosfera” and some know online communities: there as 1.1 billion users of Internet and only 5% writing in yours blogs, by Technorati; in number of post, it’s published somes 1.6 million of post for day, but some published more, the quantity is only 0,1% users of Internet daily published.

My favorite site

I like two kind of sites, three are sites of radios and other three are news sites. These six are chilean sites, are mass medias, two sites are electronics news papers that they have news about social moviments and differents topics: “el ciudadano” (www.elciudadano.cl) have some areas like environment, social organitation, means, arts, politics, economy, justice and human rights, education, health; “el mostrador” (www.elmostrador.cl) have some topics like Country, World, Business, Culture, Life on line, blogs and opinion. While www.emol.com is a abbreviation of “el mercurio on line”, that is a diary with tradition conservative, founded in 1927.

The webs sites of radios are'n radios on line. The radio of University of Chile have publishing line focused to public service, they have news and the differents topics of your programs, more various columns of opinion where, for example Faride Zerán writes, my favorite programs is “Vuelan las plumas” where Vivian Lavin some week interviews to writers and artists, Every Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The sites of radios “Futuro” (www.futuro.cl) and “Sonar” (www.sonarfm.cl) show different news of musics, artists, albunes, concerts, contests and your programming. Both radios point at similar types of auditors, first radio have a programing that catches public adult because it has blues, for example. While that “Sonar” contains musics a litlle contemporary, then, they go to a public younger.
